How is the air you breathe?
Within the walls of your home you should feel safe, and be able to breathe freely.
But what is the air you breathe really like? Studies show that on average we spend 80-90% of our lives indoors and the air in our homes contains small polluting particles from, among other things, cosmetics, hairspray, perfume, cleaning products, pets, cooking and candles.
Allergies and hypersensitivity are widespread in the Danish population and the cause can often be poor indoor climate. It can be caused by the above elements or the accumulation of moisture and mold in the home. In addition to being harmful to housing and furniture, mold and fungus are especially unhealthy for us humans when they affect the air we breathe every day. An unhealthy indoor climate can, among other things, lead to asthma, allergies and other health problems such as fatigue, headaches and difficulty concentrating.
Good hygiene, cleaning and ventilation are always important for a healthy indoor climate. But sometimes that’s not enough. In order to achieve a high quality of the indoor climate, it is necessary that the polluted air be replaced with fresh air. There must therefore be ventilation of the air.
